Introduction

A few years ago, my husband and I blogged our trip to Scotland and had a lot of fun doing it. However, keeping a blog during the trip meant taking time out to type stuff up and finding Internet access and carrying net books everywhere. It also meant that years later I can reread those posts and enjoy a bit of nostalgia. 

This year, we took a two week trip to China with another couple and decided to be social instead of blogging and not worry about the logistics of potential internet access. I didn’t even bring a net book. I wanted to get some of the trip down in writing, though, so I can revisit it later. Doing it as a blog again will also let other interested parties read about the trip and see some of our photos. Hopefully, I can get it written down before I forget all the little details that make travel so much more fun than just watching travel shows and looking at pictures.
